Entrepreneurship Space on Twitter

A Twitter discussion about taxi businesses sparked a realisation: I had been limiting myself to a single idea when I should have been exploring many.

I was in a taxi business space yesterday on Twitter, and the guy shocked everyone with the statement that you can achieve 100 taxis in 3 years and get 50000 USD a month. Was this even true? Well, I listened to his strategy, and in my mind, it made sense.

I understood that one needs a business strategy to maximize profits. I extrapolated this back to myself and the things that I am doing. Then it dawned on me that I have been limiting myself to only one idea when I should attempt to realize more ideas and see where this can lead me.

As I understood previously, ideas are the driving force in our lives, and if you have some powerful ideas, you will not be fazed by problems or handicaps. Yesterday was the day I embraced the idea of being an entrepreneur and that I should be bold and try multiple ideas.

I have learned that for every problem I have, I should face it and see how it will work out for me.

This brings me to the next idea I had:

I was worrying about what I should write, and so on. Then it dawned on me that I should figure out what I like to talk about and what I often watch on youtube or do at work. Then the search became easy. I could talk all day about these meta ideas such as politics, what I think is right, and the Bible reading. And many other topics.

What is it that I like to talk about?

  • Programming:

  • Higher level ideas

  • Different kinds of problems and how to express them.

  • Entrepreneurship

  • How do I get better at this thing?

  • What kind of strategy am I applying?

  • Politics

  • DRC Politics

  • Bible reading

  • Connection of everything I do with the word of God, especially the book of Proverbs.

As I have observed, I want to improve in every area that interests me. This has been the driving force.

The next bit is identifying how to write to grow an audience. And this is where I will be observing people like Dan Kote.
